The Story of Kyei

Kyei is a baby boy who was only two months old when her teenage mother abandoned him with her aged grandmother in a dilapidated wooden structure.
What to feed baby kyei by the grandmother was a problem he become malnourished and sick, so he was admitted at Kwesimintim hospital for at list thrice a month due to his condition the hospital had to engage the department of social welfare to take on the case. The department of social welfare tried their best to keep kyei with the grandmother whilst providing them with food and other necessities through the NGO but the family still failed to take care of the boy. T
he only option that was left was to take kyei to a shelter home for proper care and protection.
Jomelos Home opened his doors to care for kyei and at that time he only weighed 4kg at 7 months with severe haemorrhoids and malnutrition which made him inactive.

The three months that kyei has stayed under Jemelos care his health has improved drastically and the paediatrician says his weigh is encouraging. Kyei now Craw's, very active and weighs about.....
